Information You Submit
Search entries
A name, location, or other term entered into an embedded search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. This site does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy applies to its handling of the query.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal order.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine technical information may be recorded when a page loads. It helps operate the site, measure use, and diagnose faults.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage may be used to understand site use and support site features. Browser controls can reject or delete cookies, though blocking them may cause some functions to work differently.
How Data Is Used
Collected information is used only for ordinary operation and improvement of the service.
- Keep pages available, secure, and responsive
- Send search requests to the selected partner tool
- Learn which content readers use
- Detect and repair technical problems
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Websites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to the TCSO roster, Tippecanoe County records pages, MyCase, IDOC, federal locators, news sites, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy terms govern its collection and use of data.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That collection occurs on the provider’s systems, not under this site’s direct control.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics services that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. No website, internet link, or storage system can be promised as fully secure, so we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may contact us and request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal data we hold
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal data where deletion applies
- Opt out of certain processing activities
